All I did was change plug wires. I got a set of Accell 8.8mm and just put them on. I checked and rechecked the proper firing order and checked for 12V to the HEI module.I have my timing light on the #1 plug wire figuring that I will see it flash as the engine turns...but it isn't flashing. The only other thing I did was tighten up a couple of the plugs because they were a little loose..but I know I didn't tighten them too much. It had been running kind of rough and I had a lot of static through the radio so that's why I went with the better wires. What am I missing?

You're not letting me off easy are you!Well..I didn't forget the coil wire...there isn't one! I knew I had the firing order right 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2....I'll give you a hint.....I woke up at 7:00am this morning and an hour later it was 6:00am....I'm sure someone out there will figure it out and expose me for the dummy that I am!!

Yea...it's running a lot better and no more radio static. I still need to do some more tuning..it's running kind of rich.
You mean I'm not the first one to ever go in the wrong direction??
