Well we have the biggest game of the season tomorrow which will decide weather we move on to the post-season. If we win we will be 8-8

Not bad for a 500 season. It's a good thing the rest of the teams in our division haven't played so well. Although I do feel bad for the teams with a 11-5 record with chances of still not making the playoffs.

Now all we just have to win! GO CHARGERS!!!!

well, we got rid of Norv in hopes someone could help the Redskins, and we got Marty, who did pretty good for the one year he was here
then we sent Marty to you guys, who got them to 14-2
then we sent Norv out there to kill that team, which he did a pretty good job of, lol
congrats to you guys if they make it, were not going anywhere again, unless you send us Rivers in exchange for Cambell and Snyder

i'm a bronco fan, and there were several years we got to sit home with an 11-5 or 10-6 record, now other teams are whinning about it. i know denver isn't that good this year, too many injuries, but we did well against the nfc. i think s.d. could go farther in the play offs than denver this year..... it has been an interesting season..

Norv Turner killed the Chargers? How so?

If I am not mistaken they made won two playoff games last year and made it to the AFC Championship game. That is two more playoff games then Marty won when he was here.

Even though they weren't ground pounders this year, if they win tonight all bets are off. Everyone has a chance if they make it to January.

Well we did it. 52-21. We now face the Colts on Saturday night at 8pm Eastern. I think the Bolts peaked just at the perfect time.

I was watching the first half and when it got to 24 - 6, I decided that it would be a good time for me and the son to play video games. Then I checked the puter after he went to bed and saw 51 - 21. Holy crap was that even a professional football game?

The Chargers are hot right now, but Indy is even hotter should be interesting next week.

What has Norv Turner done with the team? So far his success is the result of the team that was built by Marty. If taking a 14-2 team to 8-8 is a success then you will love Norv Turner.

I agree. As much of a Charger fan that I am, I did not see any profit or gain when we got rid of Marty. He pretty much built a Super Bowl team and it was just handed to Norv. Norv reminds me of the football coach in "Water Boy" with Adam Sandler. Not to mention didn't Marty get a huge payday for not even coaching a single game in 07 and 08?

Marty took a 14-2 team and went one and done in the playoffs. Same as the other two years he took the team to the playoffs. Norv Turner won two playoff games last year, and who knows what will happen this year. I'm not a fan of them ditching Marty, but AJ Smith is the one who basically built that team.

Let's not forget that the first year after the Chargers went 12-4 with Marty they went 9-7 and didn't make the playoffs.
