Are these as bad as some other repop parts or are they actually half decent? Mine are toast and need something for the trim guy to put in after he installs the headliner. We are working on a 72 El Camino so they are the padded style.

Guess I'll find out tomorrow unless someone has a compelling story that I should be aware of.

We had a set for the yellow '71 Elky and they were HORRIBLE! Poor fit and dye would not stay on them no matter how we cleaned and prepped. Shop ebay for some nice used metal ones. The ones I had ended up in the trash.

Think I just saw a set in the classifieds.

If I have to, I think I could restore the original pieces with some epoxy and dye.
