i have a 1971 chevelle but i do not like the plastic grills that came on them. b4 i go out and buy a 72 grill i wondered if it would fit as far as i know the only difference between the two years is the bazel lights but companies always sell them seperate. please help

72's are plastic too! A 72 will fit but to make it look right you will need headlight rings for a 72 also. You don't have to change the turn signal bezels if you don't want to.

thanx jerry in that case i'll stick with the 71 grill piece and paint it black on a different note i cant find anyone who sells 71 ss grill trim just malibu trim any suggestions

Theres a few places you can get it,... Ground Up Restoration, Paddock Parts, and if you don't need it ASAP, Check Ebay. You might get a good deal there. Good Luck,
