: does the 1972 grill piece fit a 1971 chevelle torquefactory Aug 27th, 02, 1:00 AM i have a 1971 chevelle but i do not like the plastic grills that came on them. b4 i go out and buy a 72 grill i wondered if it would fit as far as i know the only difference between the two years is the bazel lights but companies always sell them seperate. please help Jeffry72 Aug 27th, 02, 5:27 AM 72's are plastic too! A 72 will fit but to make it look right you will need headlight rings for a 72 also.
