Has anyone used hooker headers on their ls1 swap into 67 chevelle part no 2289 did you have any fitment problems with l/h side hitting on lower bottem rear control arm mount? and did you use hooker engine adapters or another brand, thanks

best bang for buck headers seem to be edelbrock...they're stainless and around $600, I think they should have them for 67s out by now

I have dougs and they're ok...I have some issues though, but nothing major

I couldn't justify the scam of buying those expensive plates, just buy some 1/4" plate and make your own using BRP specs, then just unbolt the factory perches and move them where ever you need them to sit

I made my own mount plates(BRP style) and used hooker headers on my 67. The only real clearance issue I ran into was with the column shift linkage which i switched to a cable setup. Also it was a tight fit arount the steering shaft.
