I have a 69-Chevelle SS-396, I just finished restoration of complete car, I installed Painless Wiring Kit-18 circuit harness. I cannot get dome light int.door lights, center council lights and fuel gauge to work know. I seem to have good grounds on everything, Any HELP would be GREATLY APPRECIATED. THANK-YOU.

That would be pretty tough to diagnose from here unless maybe someone else has had the same problem with the Painless Wiring Kit-18 circuit harness.
I would get out the volt meter and start with the basics, checking where you DO have voltage and where you do NOT have voltage.

Did you get the part # 20102 GM Muscle 18 circuit kit?
Look on page 21, Fig 10-3, I don't see shown but run black wire in dash harness "#978 to courtesy lights" to your door switches and this will complete ground so lamps will light when door opens. Console needs ground wire to the lamp. Fuel gauge is problem #2.

Explain how you connected the fuel gauge wire please? Did you connect to the old wire by splicing or did you run the new wire all the way to the sending unit?
Did the wire already have a connector on it or did you have to put one on? Crimp or solder?

And did you connect the ground on the sender?

I connected the pink wire #939 in tail section, to the old fuel tank connection in the trunk, it works fine for me. See Page 28 Tail section.
