Anyone offer any advice on where to start to diagnos what has caused my dash lights to die. They all just stopped working at the same time. Bit of a rookie and have no clue where to start looking for the problem.

LM72SS -

I'm not trying to be a smart alex here but the first two things that come to mind are:

1) Do you have the dimmer knob (headlight switch) turned up? Try to adjust the brightness and see if that helps. Run the full range from bright to dim.

2) Check the fuse.

These first two steps will help you eliminate a couple of the easier problems to fix. Hope it helps.

Tried the dimmer knob - definitely not the problem. I'm not sure why I didn't think to check the fuse. Bear with me I'm use to new cars and not having to fuss with them much. I'll check the fuse tonight.

Thanks Bill

My next guess would be the switch itself.

I see you are in Toronto - check out the CanAm Chevele club link in my sig.
Cheers,
