Can someone flash me pic of the 68 bracket that mounts the remote reservoir to the fender/core support? Do you know where I can find this bracket???Thanks...thud:cool:

There is no separate bracket. The bracket is part/attached to the reservoir itself, and it's bolted to the fender, and the rad support.

Another pic, showing the whole bracket. The '68 reservoir is listed by NPD, Ground Up, and Classic Muscle, but the pictures in the catalogs are for 66~67 cars.

I'd check with James Hinshaw & see if he has a good used one. 1-336-586-0802.

According to Ausley's catalog,1967-8 uses the same reservoir mounting bracket.

From the looks of that bracket, it may be made to mount the incorrect reservoir that looks like this-it may work, it may not work, but it's not correct.:noway:

Are you trying to stay stock? The 68 reservoir is one piece not two. I believe one can not buy a reproduction 68 unit. See Bill's picture for mounting position.

Thanks for all the help guys. Trying to stay as close to stock as I can without dumping big bucks. Found and bought the incorrect mounting bracket because it fits the cannister I already have. Might try the other guy and see if there is a true 68 remote reservoir I can get without crazy money. If not, this will be good enough for about 98% of the people. This is just a clone/tribute whatever we call them now. Thanks again for all the input. Thud:cool:

It is the same as the 1/2 ton c-10 trucks from 67 to 70. That is when they stop useing the short water pump in the trucks.
