Is it ok to offer money to someone on this site for finding me a 66 chevelle to purchase?

Thank you,
Jon

Jon, do you already have someone in mind? If not contact Mike Crown...he is 66mysterychevelle here. He has helped numerous people find their 66-67's (Including me, and I couldn't be happier!) He may charge you a nominal fee, but in my opinion, it is worth every cent to have the expertice and advice of someone as knowledgable as him before making a purchase.

Otherwise, be careful who you are working with...you may have people coming out of the woodwork with a post like this. Get referrals!

A lot of folks on here ask others in an area where a Chevelle is for sale to look at it and take some pictures... All are willing to do it for free. You just have to do the research and coordinating...

While this may seem like an innocent enough question, you will get far too many varying opinions for answers. You need to pick what YOU want, and forget about everyone else. If you find after a while that you want something else.....sell what you have and move on.

I know where there is a 67 chevelle, 454, th400 posi 355s and the car is being given away for nothing, free of charge, no money, $0.00. Give me $15,000.00 for a finders fee and I'll tell you where it is.

I agree with the others, do some looking around and decide what year and body style you want. My dream car is Mike Crown's, but the '67 for sale on his site is very nice! There are a lot of things to consider about what you want to do with the car also. Everyone has a different opinion, but if I owned a 375hp L78 numbers matching finished anything I wouldn't be driving it around for fear of damaging it. There are many levels of this hobby, what are you looking to do with it?

Very good advice from Bill here. I did see your desire in an earlier post. If that is truly what you must have, I think Mike is definately the guy to contact if you want all the I's dotted and T's crossed for that particular car.
