My odometer is clicking off the single miles ok but its got a problem with the the 10k mile increments. For example: monday it read 62,338 miles,yesterday it said 64404. Are the counters serviceable and if not can i get replacements?

You can find speedo shops in the yellow pages under automotive, I think. We use one and they do a good job of rebuilding them. Usually only takes a day or two.
