Part of my smugglers box is rusted through. Just forward of the passenger side wheelhouse. Wheelhouse looks like it can be saved. Is there a piece of sheet metal available that will fix this. If not I will attempt to remake , but I wanted to save myself from that if there is a repro piece can be amde to fit with a little effort.

The ElCamino shares the same floor as any other from 64-67
And I would imagine that the passenger version of the same panel will work
in the 68-72.

This panel will be called----under the rear seat pan.

I used the passenger version for my 59 ---- and still had to cut a section from a a car to finish it.

There will be some trimming to do this panel, as the rear of the cab and the cover support are welded to it.

The under rear seat pan is the same as the one for a 4 door sedan or 4 door Hardtop.

The El Camino store has all the pcs to replace the whole smugglers box. They are owned by Ecklers. I bought all the pcs plus interior pc and the whole panel below rear window. I am now in process of replacing all. The parts are good and so far look to exact replicas of whats in there now.
