I just bought a 1970 Chevelle. It is supposed to have the hideaway wipers but the arem are not straight but have the bend on the end. I go to the junk yard to get some replacements to find another arm on the drivers side. Mine does not have the pin on the arm transmission. Any thoughts?

That sounds like the wrong arm.It should have two arms & kind of swivel as it moves. All of the "a" body cars in the junk yard of the same years should be the same.Actually post for a part needed in the parts forum & get the right part for the right price.Check with John Muha ,good guy for parts
