I have been looking around for a quick conversion for my 69 El camino. And i was told that the 1991 Caprice classic had the same setup from Chevy as my el camino. So i went to a junk yard and pulled out the front suspension, master cylinder, brake booster, upper lower control arms, rotor, and caliper all out of this car. but when i got home I noticed that the upper control arm f-bar wasn't identical. Is this the right setup? Are there better ones?

The control arms are not the same. The spindles will work although you will will have to install offset upper control arm shafts to bring the car into alignment. You will also need a special lower ball joint that is machined down to fit the Chevelle control arm and the Caprice spindle. The booster will not work on the Chevelle. You can get a new disc brake master cylinder for your El Camino for about $60. You also need the porportioning valve which is mounted to the left bolt of the master cylinder.
