Well this is what it was like when i got up here this morning. I didnt have cable tv for most of the day or cable internet but they got it going later on today. About 50% of my town is still out of power. Its amazing how destructive ice can be.

I just got done moving the snow we got from that storm. About a foot for the first real snow of the year.

Yep! That's what it looked like for sure! Took a while to get the car cleaned off enough to take my wife to work! Half the people didn't show today!

We recieved some of the same stuff just not nearly as bad. More sleet with some snow mixed in. Ice on cars was maybe 1/2 inch thick at most. Still bad enough though.

We got nailed with that crap last year... Better there than here..:D

Did you see in the news that Las Vegas had 4.5" of snow and Seattle, WA recorded 19.4" in areas?

So far this winter is starting out kicking everyones butt... North-South-East and West is getting slapped by Mother Nature...

That storm just barely missed us up here. But no worries, mother nature has payback for us tomorrow.

ha.......... when I lived in the great white north the boss supplied snowmobiles & electric suits that plugged in to make sure EVERYONE showed up on snow days !!! of course it was a ski-doo dealership ......... & about 1/2 the snowmobiles were "test" rides: l:)
