Merry Christmas to everyone, especially Dean, Scott Salerno, Richy Rich, Tom, Hairy...err, I mean Harry, Enrique, and everyone else I've had the pleasure of becoming friends with on this great site!

I haven't been around much the past nearly 2 years now! WoW! Time has sure gone quick! I'm "sorry" to say, but, I've made a transition to the "Dark Side," Ford lol :D I picked up an '03 Mach 1 this past June, and it's served as my DD, and I've been caught up in buying some bolt ons for it. But no need to worry, I still have the Heart Beat inside, but make some "hoof prints" at the same time! haha My 'Velle has been down a little over a year now, but I've been putting it off due bills, and a little one on the way! :)

There's nothing majorly wrong with the 'Velle, just a tapping lifter, but the reason I've put it off for soo long is because I figure, if I'm gonna yank the intake to replace lifters, I might as well port match my intake to my heads. If I'm gonna make that kinda mod, then I might as well and take advantage of the extra air flow and upgrade my cam and lifter while I'm at it. If I'm gonna upgrade my cam/lifters, I might as well go solid! If I'm gonna have to yank the motor to make the cam install easier, then I might as well just yank the heads off to measure how much clearence I'll have between the piston and valves that way I can go with the biggest cam possible that my pistons will allow! Since my heads will be off, and I'll be going with a bigger cam, then now's the best time to upgrade the valve springs! And since the motor will be out, I might as well drop the oil pan and fix the dent that it has so I can once and for all get rid of that oil leak that it has by the oil drain bolt, and slap on a new gasket of course! And once I'm done with everything, then I might as well and clean up the block and repaint it! I'm thinking of going with Chevy orange this time....I had originally painted it yellow lol What can I say? It stood out! hahaha If I'm going to have a fresh looking motor to drop back into my car, then there's nooooo way in heck that I can drop it in with an ugly, dirty, and messy looking engine bay! hahahahahah I think you guys get the picture! :D
