When the cowl induction vent door is closed it actually sits below the level of the hood on one side. I looked underneath and there appears to be two holes that could accomodate screws or some sort of system to adjust this door so it closes flush with the hood. Does anyone know if such a systen exists or is this condition normal?

Well mine does not adjust up and down, just left and right. It sounds like you have a tough problem. It would be easier to make it lower than the hood. Make sure there are no washers or spacers between the bracket and hood.

Caddpro- The problem is that it IS lower than the hood when it is in the down position. I am trying to get it to lift up slightly on one side so it is level with the hood surface.
