At 40 MPH I get a side to side shimmy. She doesn't pull or hopp. It goes away at higher speeds. Tires are wearing even. steering appears tight....

Sounds like something is worn out or out of alignment.

Jack both wheels off the ground. Grab one of the wheels at 3-o'clock and 9-o'clock. Push/pull each side. Hopefully you will be able to see if the tie-rod, centerlink or idler/pitman arm are worn.

Could be your idler arm. Check for play in it. Does it shimmy going over railroad tracks or other obstructions in the road?

I did the checks that were suggested, Looks like the idler is loose. I will replace and let the "team" know.
