Just rebuilt my Carter AFB but ran into a heckuva problem. When I fire it up gas comes spraying out the holes next to where the metering rods go.....gasket is in there and appears to be seated correctly...any ideas?

Not a real Carb expert and don't know a thing about the Carter but if the float levels on my demon are too high it spits gas like you're describing.
