You dont have to be an import guy for that one. Amazing!

Driving skills were through the roof, raw power, situational awareness was amazing. That was just pure bad ass all around right there. I hadnt seen that vid before but have seen it at least 4 times now. Awesome.

And I would have LOVED to be the guy on the segway! :D

man that looked like fun! wish I had 1/3 the driving skills.....heck, 1/10.

thanks for posting that. awesome. :hurray::thumbsup::hurray:

that was bad to the bone. i think i liked the drift around the single orange post the most. hang on the handbrake and come in sideways then gun it with the wheel cut to get it around and draw back to stay tight...and he was TIGHT.

he's done that a few times, huh?

what do you say that was, an old airstrip or something?

what do you say that was, an old airstrip or something?

think so, he came into one of the hangars and did that 180 and went out the other door.

Thats one of the best driving vids I have seen to date.

If you dont like that video for any reason, up to complaining that its an import then your just not a gearhead and you should trade in your keys for a buspass and a 10 speed. :D

Don't doubt his skills behind the wheel............. doubt my skills on a segway :DMy 88year old grandpa has a segway, and rides it all the time. He brings it to the family gatherings, where all of us grandkids like to get drunk and try maneuvers beyond our capabilities, sometimes while giving rides to small children... I tell ya, those segways are nearly impossible to dump. (I say "nearly" because I've only seen it done once... they're gyroscopes don't take into account loose gravel. l:) )

Thats the best driving I have ever seen!!! I wonder how many times he had to practice that before he got through the "course" once without smacking that thing into a wall/building/cone/guy on segway.... Never the less, thats awesome, and with an AWD vehicle to boot!!!:bow:

Wow...talk about abusing a vehicle. And the tires. I wonder what's left of the tires after putting them through that. 500+hp or not, those free revs near the beginning sounded like poop. :D

How can you ever be certain that your car isn't going to roll when you violently kick it sideways at high speed?

Holy smokes that kicked a$$...That was bad. A whole lot of talent there. Anyone looking for a wheel man for the most extreme heist???

I think he went through 4 sets of tires for that shoot. Makes me happy to have an sti (import or not), and sad I'll never be able to drive like that. You guys should check out all the Ken Block vids. He's amazing.

That was awesome! I like the turn around the one building, you can see him turn in before he even gets close to clearing the porch. The car is aimed at the building the entire turn.

That was pretty sweet. One of the few imports worth owning IMO.

I've seen that video before, but love to watch it over and over. I'm not a huge fan of imports, but fast is fast boys and girls, and I definately like FAST! Import or not. I'd pay to ride with him.

i can't get the first vid to play. in this one, there was no room for error. everything in the video was heavy enough to turn that suburu into confetti. that guy can drive. it also make me wish i wasn't such a dinosaur. i like vintage, but if i ever wanted something crazy, one of those suburu's would be high on the list....

The original video was more impressive to me. The sideways over a bunch of fluorescent bulbs thing was kind of dumb, as was breaking a tube over one's head (hint: they have mercury in them. Yeah it is only a small amount, but it doesn't go away)

Not saying I would turn down a ride like that if offered, but the first video was less staged. Maybe that is why I liked it better.

I don't know how he gets that AWD car to handle like that..... I know it feels really odd sliding around a corner in my truck in 4WD...

It is a controlled 4 wheel spin, using inertia, momentum, and other physics properties. When you've got almost 500 horses powering a 2000 pound vehicle, it is pretty easy to break all four tires loose. I think the first video included a remark about using some ungodly number of tires to shoot the clip.

I agree with the above poster, in that the first video was much cooler. The second is like a wave-riding bad sequel in comparison, with undertones of the show jackass, and all of its 160 lb. tough guys & commercial skater prowess.
