Hello everybody, I recently removed the rear-end from my 69SS, adding c-clip elim, new axels, etc and brake lines. However, I cant seem to get the brakes to bleed. I tried the usual method;didnt work. I built one of those pressure bleeders and that didnt seem to work either.I only get a small amount of brake response when the pedal is almost to the floor. Now when the lines were off the rear part of the master cylinder did run dry. Could this be from not bench bleeding the MC? I thought that the pressure bleeding didnt require bench bleed. Any ideas?
thanks

It may not be your only problem, but if the reservoir went dry, you will need to bench bleed. With the M/C tilted up, there is no way to get trapped air out of the front of the bore.
Do you have front discs? On later years you need to push in a plunger on the proportioning valve to get fluid to the rear. I'm not sure if that applies to 69.
