I am swapping out my 70 ss sheel for a 4 spoke 71 style. Due to the changeover in horn pad design, I guess I will need an adapter kit. Year one lists a kit that includes about 5 peices including springs, etc.

Does anyone know if this is what i need to perform the swap?

are you going to the 4 spoke sport wheel like late 70s z28s use? If so just go to the junkyard and grab parts if you need them, but off the top of my head all I can think of that is different is the horn wire. The 70 wire that goes from the column to the wheel isnt needed, its replaced by a post that goes into the same holder on the column. I would just go to the junkyard and grab it off a z.

The 4 spoke wheel can use Chevette parts to get the horn working properly.
