Anyone here ever rent one of those Hertz Shelby GT-H Mustangs ?
What was your experience like?
Cost?

The reason I'm asking, my wife and I will be renting one hopefully
during our vacation in April of 2009. (fingers crossed):D

i drove many from hertz. alottt better than the challenger. u will enjoy the fun! ford knows how to keep the mustang heritage going !

I've seen it, it looks great. I wouldn't mind renting one..or owning two. :)

I heard there was a stipulation in the rental agreement about Drag Racing? Is this truth or Urban Legend?

I do know that back in the 60's when the first ones came out. People were renting them and then sneaking off to the track to race!:)

I haven't rented one but I hear the pickup and drop off inspections can be very lengthy and in depth so leave extra time when dropping car off.

Exactly why the 4-spd was not available in them with the 66 model year.
