Do the 67 Beaumont and the 67 Chevelle share the same sheet metal? Eg fenders, quarter panels, and floor pans.

Yes

there are trim differences, so the holes for this trim will be different in the fenders, doors and quarters. Floors are the same. I believe that Chevelles and Beaumonts were produced on the same Oshawa mixed model production line.

IMO 67 Beaumont SDs are the best of all Beaumonts.

I agree! 67's are best!hahaha! same sheet metal (except tail light housings), and frame, same interior (except the dash).

Just wondering, what does the "SD" in Beaumont stand for? I read "What is a Beaumont" thread but could not see an explanation. Thanks, Doug
I will have to look at a pic of the 67 Beaumont and compare to my 67 Malibu and see the difference of exterior trim. Would be interesting to see.

Hi Doug, you can see some pics of my 67 Beaumont SD here: http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/496943

Its very much like a chevelle, just been around longer and with some trim differences, the biggest change being the GTO dash, eg. a 67SD uses a 64 GTO tach as an option in the dash. I like the beaumont dash more, having the 4 round guages rather than the large sweeping speedo. The grille in a beaumont is cast metal/chrome versus stamped in the chevelle.

I used to take my car to MN, SD and ND to car shows... like Back to the 60s, and Canton, SD ...There are usually a few Beaumonts at Car Craft too, I might drive mine down next year.
