It's Deja Vu all over again:D. I was perusing www.carsonline.com (http://www.carsonline.com) and there is a listing for a Green LS6 located at a dealer in Cananda with 4880 original miles. Price is 139,.995K. Where have I seen this car before?

are we sure the build sheets are real because of no seat spring marks? ;)

One engine compartment picture and not one picture of any of the stampings makes for a very poor ad. That's not exactly the way a high end car should be marketed IMO.

Neat looking car. Was this the one Duffy's had for sale awhile back?

This car is listed for sale on the Yenko site. In my opinion, once a car has a full restoration, it doesn't matter how many miles were put on it originally.

I agree  This poor car has had more owners in the last 10 years than any car has a right to :(

It is the same car I remember from several years ago. Maclean Classices confirmed that the passenger door has been replace and the lower right quarter has been repaired and the whole car has been clear coated afterwards.

A "super car" to me is a McLaren F1, Enzo, Veyron, Carrera GT or the like. That's why I was confused. :)

Anthony, I think they lurk on this forum but they blow their horns on www.yenko.net (http://www.yenko.net). Regular Chevelles are for us common folk, even if we have the real deal.:p

Yeah...they sometimes lurk here...but more often than not...have really good information on some of the coolest and the rarest cars out there.

The second owner of the above mentioned LS6 was also one of the owners of the Red Alert Chevelle...Bill S.

Here's what he has to say about the above mentioned car...

-----I was the second owner of this LS6. I bought it from Rick. The primary reason for the resto is that the car was in an accident back while I owned it with a partner. The amount of damage has always been the subject of discussion but suffice to say, the whole car was painted after that accident. The work was done by one of the best body and paint guys I ever knew. He has since passed. The car was owned by a salesman at Bill Jacobs Chevrolet named Horace when it was fixed. Someone in Michigan bought it from him and I lost track of it. The next time I saw it the car was at one of Danas auctions probably about 9 years ago, and the paint had gone substantially down hill. The car then made its way to California and was traded around some more. It was in the last Russo+Steele auction and I noticed Terbeeks name on the board but there was nobody there to talk to. He has had some nice cars and to his credit the car looked good. If you look at the vintage pics you can see the need for underhood freshening and now you know the reason for the paint. Any more questions that I can answer I will be happy to do so. Restored or not Ricks old car is a treasure and if any LS6 is worth the money I would think this one would be........Bill S

Oh...and the car is not in Canada...it's in Minnesota. The Canada company is representing the car...

As for me...I don't worry about any of the BS...or the attitudes...I just have fun.

Screw the people with the attitudes...I have better things to worry about in my life!:D:thumbsup::beers:

Hey Bruce is that Bill Stephens from ESPN/NHRA/Russo and Steele auction show?

Mike,

Bruce is referring to a gentleman named Bill Stephenson. I don't know of the Bill Stephens that you mentioned, but I am fairly certain it would be a different person.

Thanks Bill. Bill Stephens is a musclecar collector who writes for ESPN auto racing (mostly NHRA) and he and Keith Martin have a show on ESPN where they host the Russo and Steele auction coverage and guess what the bidding will bring. I guess I confused Stephens with Stephenson.

Mike...Bill is right. It's a different guy. This Bill S. is a really cool guy...and has owned a lot of extremely cool cars.

The stories that he has told are just way cool!:hurray::beers:

I just LOVE the pics of this thing from back in the day. This one is my fave. Look at all those guys hanging out with their cars. I also like the color a lot. Good luck to the seller.
