I would say of the special paint cars in 1970, Monaco Orange has to be about the most popular ordered color. There were a few of the Carolina Blue ones as well.

Nowhere that I see does it say that was the original color. I'd bet it wasn't.

yes real ss. no original color lemans blue. motor non matching . 454 -425 H.P. year of motor 1972.

Can't forget your beautiful Special Order L78, Mike....too pretty!

BUT, I believe I had said the Hugger Orange was the most popular ZP3 color that got ordered. My friend in Joliet called me all excited last week, he just bought a ZP3 '70 L78 car, he's not sure of the original color, he thinks it is some Cadillac Brown color. It can't be a Firemist color, but it could be similar....:thumbsup:

That would be my bet, although possible to be special order Lemans Blue. Odds aren't too great though.

Looks like a nice,fun street car for the money if you aren't too concerned about factory stock appearing.
