In the AIM it shows the tach, mounting bracket and a mounting plate.
The placement of the plate isn't very clear. Does it mount to the inside or outside of the dash, and is it really necessary? Can't I just run 2 screws through the mounting bracket into the dash?

I have an old "Chevelle Report" from 1997 that had a specific article on installing a blinker tach. It even came with a template. Now, if I could only find that issue. Give me a day or 2.
