Im having some oil pressure problems. My oil light is flashing intermitantly but only after i have been running at freeway speeds and then only if im at idle. I havent seen it happen in stop and go traffic. I havent had a chance to put a real guage in the car so i dont know what the actually pressure is. Any Ideas?

Short of checking with a mechanical gauge, check the wire from the sender to be sure it doesn't have any bare spots that could be creating a ground.
The oil light switch completes a ground circuit to light the oil light.
I'm in LB, (close to Cal Worth-nothing F%&*),
and have a gauge you can stick on for a quick check. Let me know.

I have some Autometer gauges sitting in my garage,i just need to get to work and put them in the car.I drove to the grocery store and it did okay so ill keep my fingers crossed.
