Recently I am completing a rebuild of my 1972 Chevelle SS (402 BB). We had started the car a few weekend ago and broke in the engine, which was fine.. Worked on all the leaks, bugs.... However I am having a major problem. The car does not have any vacuum? The vacuum is around 7 psi and it seems to me it could be a mismatch with the edelbrock carburetor (Factory looking one 1901) and the oval port low rise 1968 aluminum corvette intake on the car? Does or has anyone placed a corvette intake on their car? Also does anyone happen to know what the problem could be?
