I need to replace my 71 elkys wiper motor. It has concealed wipers(depressed park) and windshield washers. My local parts store has 2 Cardone parts numbers , 1 with demand pump 1 without demand pump. I dont think they mean one comes with washer pump and one doesnt, I think they mean one motor is wired for the "demand! pump and one isnt. What is a demand pump, and which one do I need? Cardone 40142 or 40156.? The parts guy has no clue! Thanks, Scott!

The 142 is without a pump the 156 is with a pump. I believe they call it a demand pump because it pumps on demand.

thanks Elree. Of course neither is in stock-they need to come from their warehoue. So you think 156 comes with the washer pump? Both are the same price but the core on 142 is $35 the other is $10 core?
