: "clunk" noise

I am concerned about a "clunking" noise I hear, when I release the clutch, during a normal takeoff. I checked the u-joints and the ring and pinion, back lash. Its all OK! Can't find any problems. Please help!

Motor mounts, Trans mount, Rear control arm bushings?

Thanks for your reply! I have installed new motor and tranny mounts. I still have to rebush the rear control arms, so that may be where the noise is coming from. Sounds just like a U-joint.
