I have a 600 edelbrock carb on a Performer manifold that starts and idles fine when cold but gets a little choppy when hot. It only crops when ive driven somewere and let the car sit for awhile[say a trip to the grocery store]. Then after a few blocks it clears up. Any thoughts?

About 90% of Carter/Edelbrock carb problems are all about dirt (fine dirt) in the idle circuit. The other 10% is the float settings so if you have the carb specs is a simple carb and process to fix. Good luck
