I've spent the last two hours searching the internet for info on the rear struts on htese cars, and can't find what I need to know. The rear air bags leak and need replaced. there are kits to retrofit springs in their place, but I need to fix it tomorrow and can't wait to order one. (Wife wrecked our other car!) Will stock rear springs fit in the airbags place? If so, I can hit the Pick A Part and get it done. Coils are also available from O'Reillys on a special order, non returnable basis. There is plenty of info on the retrofits, but no mention of factory springs. Anyone have any ideas?

Hey, the air bags you need may also be the same used on the early Lincoln Navigators '98-'01 w/ air suspension. Check it out. If so, it will widen the source pool from which you can find them.

You should be able to get the whole deal in the yard, springs, shocks and control arms. Upper and lower spring seats would be the key items.
Take a couple photos or just go looking at non airbag cars.

Pulled my bags and looked at how they were mounted, then went to Pick A Part and got some rear coils off a Crown Vic, mountings looked the same as mine. Got them in my car and ride, handling and height are all the same as before. Cost $36, and a few hous time.
