HI. I know it,s still cool up here in Ontario but with a 454 with a 180 stat i can run the car for a hour or so and the temperature stays around 160 -170. Should i block off the rad abit to bring it up. Thanks

Change the thermostat it may be off or the temperature gauge is inaccurate.

It is never a good idea to block the rad, instead, addressing the cause would be best.
