My '64 283 has a slight miss at highway speeds and the exhaust smells terrible. (I have to leave my clothes in the garage) The 2-Jet was rebuilt by a carb shop, the timing was set by the local Chevy guru (MSD system) and the plugs are new. The mech thinks the fuel mix is too lean and could use bigger jets/metering rod. Any ideas?
