Has anyone used the leatherette door panels from opgi? If so was the quality worth the extra cost?

Thanks

leatherette naugahyde and vinyl are just different names for vinyl. leather is leather. do the right thing and put ledgendary vinyl skins on your car they are about 50% more than pui and a world of difference better.

they are the most accurate reproductions you will ever find, the quality is superb. ledgendary will send you free samples, their product is a winner hands down. if you want to see for yourself and you can wait a while contact A.C.E.S. (the american chevelle enthusest soceity) it is worth becomming a member. they even put out a monthly magazine. they recomended ledgendary interiors to me. they have an event called chevelleabration every year and thousands of chevelles come, so you can see for yourself. a friend of mine purchased them for his heavy chevy. this can only enhance the value of your car making it look just like it came out of the assembly plant.

I agree leather is leather, but I am curious if anyone has seen the leatherette panels they provide as well as the vinyl ones.

Anyone?

I believe that Naugahyde was Uniroyal's trade name for their leatherette cloth backed vinyl. There were/are different grades. The cheap seat vinyl insert material in the seats of our '69 300 Deluxe seems to be very thin compared to other vinyl that I have.

I dont think you read my post properly. There is no diference other than the name. Leatherette is vinyl. They are confusing you. Once again leatherette, naugahyde and vinyl are all diffeerent patents of vinyl. They are all synthetic. Leather is a natural from an animal. The different names want you to think one brand is better than another. Call ledgendary and ask them what they use (i know theirs is thicker and higher quality than pui by far). Also if you find the ledgendary next to an original interior you can tell it is a perfect match.
