The topic pretty much describes it all -
I've got a 396 with an Edelbrock intake, Edelbrock carb, Headers and HEI Ignition. I suspect the carb to be the culprit here (stuck float perhaps?) I would like to know if anyone else has any ideas on what could be causing this? Thanks for the help!

My AFB used to do that, but only when turning right from Hwy 73 onto Hoo Shoo Too Road, right by the Mobil station. (I'm not joking)
The rebuild kits have offroad needle valves that are supposed to cure this. I haven't had any trouble since I rebuilt the carb and used those needle valves. But I haven't been on Hoo Shoo Too Road yet.

This doesn't seem to happen when the vehicle is at speed.. Occurred yesterday when I was turning into a Mobil http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif (I had half a tank still)
