I would like to install a set of late model, flush style door handles on my skylark vs. the stock chrome ones. I know this will require some cutting & welding and fabrication to the locking mechanisms in the door. Anyone have any experience doing this or have pics of this they could provide? I've attached a pic of the handle on my accord to help give an idea of the style/type of look I'm going for but it obviously doesn't have to be that specific one. Anything similar that may work best.

Good link, thanks. As mentioned in that thread, making sure the handle pulls in the same direction as the factory setup is key to making it work right.
BTW, been off and on thirdgen.org since '01 as I've had 3 thirdgens. Hope to have another at some point! :beers:

You can use a cable setup or a simple cam to change direction.....problem solved.
Not only do you need the car's handle but you will need the metal surrounding the handle if you go with a flush mounted handle like the pictured civic.

I like the look of my wifes Honda oddesy handles. 05-09 model. But you would also have to trim part of the door skin like mentioned earlier.

Anyone have any pics of finished products? Yes, well aware that the surrounding area will need to be installed as well.
