Hi can anyone tell me the effect (if any) on repainting my 70ss from its original color as far as value goes? I am getting tired of the color and want something different. it has its original drive train..thnks John

If it's one of the "desireable" colors, changing it will hurt the value. It should be 45 / 45 Has been blue with black SS stripes on the cowl ind hood and black vinyl top, paint is 10-15 years old... See gallery I like the different colors...breath of fresh air....far too many blue and red cars out there. Looking for a shot of a 70 Elky in color 45 with SS Stripes and black vinyl top....thinking about going back when repaint time is here. Long ago, had my 68 427 Vette repainted in its original Safari Yellow color. Tired of RESALE RED etc....not many Safari Yellow cars out there | ||
