: Lifter Problem?

I have a 69 chevelle with a 396, that has a 292 cam and roller rockers. It only has about 1200 miles on it. Recently I got on it and it hesitated and popped, but seemed alright after that. The next day I heard drive train noise on the passenger side. I adjusted a loose lifter and it was ok for about 1 day, then came back. When I first start it, it seems ok then as it warms up it starts to pop. The rpm actually drops about 300 and has drive train noise.
Can anyone give me any suggestions on what may be wrong?

Hate to say this but it sounds like a cam lobe going south. Check to see if it is moving as much as the others. http://www.chevelles.com/forum/frown.gif
