ive been reading though alot of post regarding air ride. darren@airride states that the street challenge is the best of the best. he recommends the more economic coolride system. would the street challenge system be for the more extreme driver who would be taking their cars out to the track? how well does the coolride system hande? im not going to be taking my 67 out to the track but want a good handling system for the street. what are peoples opinions on the air ride systems like the cool ride, shock wave and the street challenge??

Angel, I am in the process of building a '66 SS "kinda" pro touring. I bought the street challenge system but I down graded the system and saved about $500 (I think). Instead of the dual adjustable shocks, I went with the single adjustable kind. My car will have about 430 hp. but I am building this car for the purpose of cruising down the highway. I would like to run it a time or two on a autocross course and also plan to drag race it a time or two also. However, my goal is to have a nice ride rolling down the highway. I am months away from driving it though so I can't tell you how it rides or handles yet.

larry, thanks for the response and sorry for the late reply. i didnt know you could downgrade on that. that will be very economically helpfull to me as i will also downgrade the shocks also.

darren,
thanks for the info. for the level 1 or 2, is there any modifications like cutting or welding? i have only read about aricles on the installation of the street challenge. also, can you manually adjust the height on all three systems?
