turn indicator light on dash will not light up unless grounded,which will eventually burn my mint 66 to thr ground.. help.

Could you give a little more detail on what is exactly, precisely, physically done in order to get the bulb to burn/glow?

yeah, most electrical things need power and ground to work.

If make the light work will burn down your car, then your car has some serious issues. Fuses usually help to prevent that kinda stuff from happening.

sorry for the lack of details on dash light .
with a bad ground to the front signals ,the indicator on the dash showed a positive ground, which messed me up big time .clean up ground and presto.
