flurry Feb 28th, 02, 2:52 AM I have a 1966chevelle ss 396. I have a problem with hood clearance. I don't even have enough room to put a stock open element air cleaner on it. I have a edlebrock performer intake and performer carb. The block is a 402ci out of a 70 chevelle. It has the motor mounts from a 70 too. Could this be the problem? Any info would be appreiciated thanks!
