Hey everybody, thanks for all the help you guys gave me. Turns out that this whole time, my only problem was that I did not time it correctly. I was too busy trying to get TDC with the vacuum advance hooked up. After I disconnected it and got it to TDC disconnected and then attached the advance, it ran fine. Stupid error on my part. I do believe I added too much ATF though. Any problem with that or will it just keep releasing all of it until it levels out? Thanks

Raider. I have always read not to overfill the transmission because the oil will start to foam. If the transmission does not have leaks, it will not "level out".

Perhaps you can pump some out through the dipstick tube with a hobby pump on an electric drill?
