How is it possible for guys who worship the incineration of perfectly good tires - not to understand the fun in muddin'? Those that don't like muddin' have never been muddin', or who have grown mentally old and curmudgeonly. Its a blast to zip along, fling it sideways, and throw mud and muck everywhere.

So, if the curmudgeon in you is starting to take the fun out of good old jack ass driving stunts - for God's sake, go out there and do a few donuts in your Chevelle. It'll do you a world of good :) I guarantee you'll feel better :)

Thats what you buy a 4x4 for!!!!!!

I bought a 87 K5 Blazer off the showroom floor, Three days later I was out in the woods tromping through 3' deep mud holes and climbing 45` hills.... No better stress reliever than spending a few hrs offroading...

No, no, no. Jim, if they can't cut and paste the word into their browser - then its open season for a wacky definition :)

The english language is the most expressive in the world

On the simple side is Green Eggs and Ham: Did you know that Dr. Seuss' publisher bet him $50 that he couldn't write a book with only 50 words? Green Eggs and Ham was the result of that bet. It was written with only 50 different words, and 49 of those words are monosyllabic. Most adults have at least a 5,000 word vocabulary that they use, maybe up to 40,000 words if you count derivitive words. That means that upwards of 10+ times that are just out there waiting for you. So, amaze your family and friends by learning a few new words and dropping them into conversation.

I'm hard of hearing so I learned to read a lot when I was growing up. Its a little geeky, but sometimes the less well known word, like "curmudgeon", is the best word for the job.

I understand this. I don't understand the posers that buy 4X4s, install lift kits and monster tires and never leave pavement.

curmudgeon - First heard that when "John boy and Billy" used it in reference to Robert D Raiford on the "The Big Show" (http://www.thebigshow.com/aa_the_crew/robert.php)

Yeah exactly... only problem is here u cant go much bigger where we go. My roof was touching some limbs and both sides were tight. Had a blast though i need a little lift though. I lost the valance (just unclipped luckily) broke my 02 sensor on the exhaust, and smashed my hitch plug. Idk if the 02 sensor was cuz of this tough cuz the service light came on last week. All in all a good time, but i probably wont take this truck out again. I have a lifted 94 chevy truck i bought that needs a motor, but its already beat up and was only 500 bucks
