Perm, since you are local, call Classic Performance in Buena Park for the price of their kits to install power steering and power disc brakes on your Chevelle just to get a feel for what is involved. Classic has very reasonable prices as far as aftermarket sources go and will give you good info over the phone, but it is going to cost you around $1,000 just for a complete bolt-on aftermarket power disc brake setup. There are several less expensive alternatives available if you want to go the used GM parts route and spend time in the wrecking yards and/or swap meets collecting the correct parts from donor cars. If you do a search on the TC site for "power disc brakes" and "power steering" you should see plenty of past posts on this subject with a lot of good information to consider.
