MY 66 has its original four wheel manual drum brakes.

The fronts, at least seem to be the finned type of drum. I have been looking at catalogs and see finned and non finned drums.

Is there any significance to finned or non finned with replacement drums?

Will either work ok?

The finned ones disappate heat better through the fins, I recommend using them. Yes, they are heavier, but better.

It turns out I have one of each on the front. Left is finned, right is plain.
