Hello again. I am having a problem with my fuel system in my 69 SS. Whenever I turn off the car if you wait a few seconds you can watch the fuel drain right back out of the inline filter and back down. Shouldn't there be plenty of fuel in the filter all the time? I have put a new filter and fuel pump on. Please help.

Mine always drained back out also. Never caused any problems though that I am aware of.

Does it run fine otherwise?

I would suspect that the gas is not draining below the level of the needle and seat in your carb. When you re fire the motor there is more than enough gas in the bowl of the carb to keep things going until the fuel pump fills the lines to the carb.
