I searched the forums and did not find anything, so I thought I would post my question. Has anyone had any experience with Classic Performance Industries?
I was looking at some of their stuff on ebay - but I have become weary of ebay companies as of late.
Thank you

i didnt deal direct with them, but bought some stuff off ebay of theirs thru Matts classic
the rear upper control arms were sup. to be adjustable, but had some worthless setup that was junk-not like the normal adj bars that screwed in/out to adjust
the rear lower bars had a provision for a rear sway bar, but the bar would not fit, brackets were not right-i called Matts, they didnt seem to want to do anything, when i called CCP, it was always someone will call you back, but never did
i bought the Edelbrock stuff, fit great, the other junk is hanging on the wall with all the other junk that i tried to save money on, lol

I am looking at a front end suspension rebuild kit - it is a lot cheaper than anything else I have found - on catalogs or local, but I do not want it to be junk

I would just go to your local parts house and buy the stuff, MOOG or TRW stuff is plenty good and not all that expensive.

On my 59 Elky:
4-whl power discs
605 power steering conversion.
discs are probably okay----just that the 7"dual booster was not available when I bought my kit, and I cannot use anything larger. (interferance with BBC valve cover AND clutch master cyl.)
The steering box, Im not to happy with (along with many other 605 conversion people with 58-64 Full Size Chevys), but they also sold me a sway bar that flat would not work with the 605 conversion without some steering box moving.
I made my own steering box adaptor to get the clearance needed, and actually ended up with a more equal pitman to idler arm angle than the adaptor they sent me.
I groused about this issue for a long time, and was told I might be used a test bed for their new 600 series box------never happened.
All in all tho----stuff seems to be working okay, and they are helpful if you can stay on the line long enough for someone to get to you.
My contacts were Jeff & Javier.
I believe they are now a vendor for Air Ride Technologies (if anyone is interested)
