Does anyone know if the 12" LS1 F-body disc brakes will work with 15" rims?

I want to replace my front drums ASAP and this seems to be about the most economical route I've found but won't be if I have to buy a new set of wheels....

i had bought some cals. and mounting brackets that someone made, but i never used them, same as you, wondered if the rotors would clear-hope you get an answer, so i can sell mine
or use them, lol
as i remember it was easier to machine drum spindels to make them fit

I don't recall all of the fitment specifics, but I have the F Body 12" rotors and calipers on mine w/ 15" Centerline Convo-Pros - no issues with clearance for me.

Convo Pros are the only 15" wheels that fit, unless you want Bogarts

Well, they won't fit inside my VWW 16x8" V48's unless I run a 1/4" spacer. Of course, with a 1/4" spacer, my tires would hit the rear of the wheelwell when I turn. :mad: I think stuffing them in 15's would be highly unlikely.

I think some folks have had luck with the "1LE" 12" rotor and tall spindle with either stock-type or wilwood stock-type calipers, but I don't know how that would play on a '66 (?)

they will fit on a 15" wheel, but you have to grind the hell out of the caliper.
