Hi All,
Working on a '69 El Camino standard instrument cluster, problem is speedometer has been getting progressively worse to the point of only working to 5mph. Now I've checked the cable and the plastic gear that goes into the trans, all seem fine, then did a stupid thing and pulled the speedo head but it really looks good for it's age,so how do you tell if it's bad? Could the trans tail housing gear be bad? can a speedo shop test the head? I guess the real question is what is my next move? Thanks Brad
